About

Dear dancers,

Finally I’ve found the time and inspiration to finish the pictures I took during your flamenco lessons last winter. Thanks for your patience.

The light conditions and lack of proper equipment didn’t help with the results, so I heavily retouched the images transforming them into something in the middle between a photo and a drawing. That’s for the monochrome + colour set.

The rest of them have been treated with a digital method that emulates the old darkroom technique of platinotype.

I really hope you like them.

I want to thank you all for letting me get into your class and live the experience of shooting that amazing dance.

Here’s a little bit of my photography resumè, in case you’re interested:

I have a Graphic Design degree and I am familiar with image post-production.

Recently, I've done several committed works in portraiture and for a travel guide book (Guía Azul 2008, Germany).

My photos have been shown in a collective exhibition in Rome in 2006, in a commemorative dvd about the city of Milan in 2007, as well as in the online magazine Jumper.it. "Yo Dona" magazine (Spain) recently published an article about my work.

Although I’m into several personal projects, I am ready and willing to take part in any professional work that has to do with photography.

If you are interested in buying any of the pictures just contact me at the provided email.
